We use it as a simulator and it works very well. It has quite a few courses on it and it seems very accurate on distance and location/direction. It is used almost daily. You can also upload two other apps- one is not any better and the E6 is insanely expensive. Built our own simulator screen with pipe so for $1200 you can have a simulator. Issues- it can get hit or moved fairly easy. Some said they built or used a plexiglass to protect. If they had one to buy that was reasonable that would be a great addition. One dislike is that the Rapsodo uses glass to cover the lense and it breaks very easy. Rapsodo has NO way to get this fixed. It has caused no known issues with the function but they need to change the design and offer an option to fix.

Sim on a budget
It’s the best budget simulator and it just keeps getting better! They had a massive update since I got this a month and a half ago and I’m impressed with how Rapsodo responds to their customers. A few things though: The courses included in the Rapsodo ecosystem-although it will come in landscape mode and will show elevations, still looks too cartoonish. It doesn’t come close to feeling like whichever course you’re playing. I’d suggest signing up with Awesome Golf and get the lifetime membership (instead of the annual). E6Connect is better but pricier and doesn’t have a lifetime plan. Overall, if you’re looking to start a home simulator, this is your best route. If you’re only looking for a launch monitor, this is only good with the premium membership which is free for the first year.

Dead on
I just got my Rapsodo today and took it to the range. After figuring out how to align it was flawless. Yesterday I was on a trackman getting fitted for golf balls and the Rapsodo was almost dead on. Nice product!

This thing is incredible for all that it does. The data and video content is invaluable for practice, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a personal launch monitor. I’m blown away by how well it works as well as how accurate and thorough the detailed information is for knowing your distances and dispersion.
